Course Description: Endodontics is here to stay, and we should all be aware of how to properly treat our patients and know when to refer. We should also be aware of what’s next when a tooth fails or endodontics isn’t an option. Throughout this course, we will discuss endodontics from diagnosis to a final restoration. An endodontist and restorative dentist collaborate throughout the day to enhance your clinical acumen.
- Assess the endodontic patient
- Understand the diagnostic, anesthetic and treatment protocols for endodontics
- Visualize the necessity of an appropriate build-up
- Understand the restorative protocols from the endodontic hand-off, including prep design, materials and cementation of indirect restorations
