Course #1 Description: This interactive course provides an in-depth look at current OSHA, HIPAA, and CDC compliance requirements specific to dental practices. Attendees will review the OSHA Bloodborne Pathogens and Hazard Communication Standards, explore real-world violation cases, and understand the financial and operational impact of non-compliance.
The course will also cover Infection Control protocols as guided by CDC recommendations, examining how policies and procedures affect staff safety, patient care, and daily workflow.
Additionally, participants will review HIPAA regulations and Texas House Bill 300, with a focus on dental-specific violations and common data breach scenarios. Practical strategies will be shared to help reduce compliance risks and enhance office protocols.
