Course Description Part 3:
This course focuses on the critical steps dental practice owners must take to successfully transition out of ownership and plan for a financially secure retirement. From succession planning and practice valuation to exit strategies and retirement savings options, participants will learn how to position their practices for maximum value. This course covers the essentials of preparing for the end game, whether through selling the practice, merging with another, or passing it on to the next generation. Key strategies for securing retirement income and ensuring the future health of the practice will be discussed in detail.

Meet the Instructors: Dr Jennifer Bell, D.D.S., FAGD, FICD, FPFA
Dr. Jennifer Bell is a native of Lexington, North Carolina. She earned her undergraduate and dental graduate degrees from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Upon graduation, she completed advanced education in general dentistry program at the Veterans Administration Medical Center in Fayetteville, NC.
In 2010, Dr. Bell along with her business partner started a general dentistry practice in Holly Springs, NC. They opened their second practice in Angier, NC in 2017. Their practices treat all ages and complexity of cases. Her main interests include rehabilitation cases, complex prosthodontic cases, laser dentistry, and sleep disorders.
Dr. Bell has earned fellowship from the Academy of General Dentistry (AGD) where she has served the North Carolina state chapter as president most recently as executive director. In 2013, Dr. Bell served as the first chair of the New Dentist committee for the AGD where she served for three years. Currently, Dr. Bell is serving as an AGD National Spokesperson, member of the Dental Practice Council and member of Governance Evaluation and Review Committee. In addition to her work with the AGD, Dr. Bell is an active member in the American Dental Association, the North Carolina Dental Society, American Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine and a fellow in the International College of Dentists. In March 2018, she graduated from the Dr. John Kois continuum in Seattle, Washington. Dr. Bell also currently serves as a clinical reviewer with Catapult Education group. Dr. Bell has recently been published in Compendium of Continuing Education in Dentistry and co-hosts a weekly Facebook live show called Dentists in the Know. Outside of dentistry, Dr. Bell is active with Kiwanis International and other local philanthropic organizations in her community.
Dr. Bell and her husband Brian reside in Holly Springs, NC and have three children: Benjamin, Lillian and Evelyn.
